1. Filling Turkey Zucchini Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 zucchini
  • 4 tbsp hummus
  • 8oz low sodium turkey lunch meat
  • 1/4 cup grated feta
  • Jalapeño

Slice zucchini thinly. Put some hummus on top of each slice and then layer each zucchini slice with turkey meat then top with some grated feta and jalapeno. Roll and secure with a toothpick. Fast and easy, but a very healthy snack.

2. Toasted Sugary Cinnamon Sticks

Ingredients:

  • 1 small whole wheat tortilla
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • coconut oil spray

Slice the whole wheat tortilla into strips before spraying some coconut oil. Sprinkle some coconut sugar, cinnamon, and allspice. Make sure you coat each tortilla strips evenly. Transfer the strips to a baking sheet then bake for about 18 min – 20 min at 375 F. Flip the strips after 1o minutes. Spray some coconut oil again and dust remaining spices before putting them back in the oven to bake for another 10 minutes. Let cool before serving. Enjoy it with a fruit and a glass of low-fat milk.

3. Sweet & Spicy Chipotle Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • sweet spicy chipotle popcorn
  • 3/4 cups air popped popcorn
  • 1.5 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp chipotle chili
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • spray coconut oil
  • sea salt to taste

Mix coconut sugar, chipotle chili, cinnamon and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Spray the air popped corn with some coconut oil before adding the powder mixture you just blended together. Make sure it’s evenly distributed to coat each popped corn. Add a pinch of sea salt and enjoy snacking.

4. Sautéed Fruit with Frozen Greek Yogurt & Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1 apricot
  • fresh mint
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 1 tsp chopped almonds
  • spray coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp reduced fat cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract (for Greek yogurt mixture for added flavor)
  • 1 packet sweetener

Slice the apricot fruit and arrange in a skillet sprayed with a bit of coconut oil. Sear the fruit on each side at medium heat. Mix some Greek yogurt and cream. To achieve an ice cream like consistency, freeze it for about 45 minutes to 1 hour before eating. It is best to do this before you sear your fruit. Upon serving, sprinkle some cinnamon, mint and shaved almonds on your sliced and seared apricot. Chill while enjoying your oh so good snack.

5. Zucchini Basil Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 zucchini
  • 2/3 cup low sodium marinara
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella
  • fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste

Diagonally slice zucchini. Spray your skillet with some coconut oil and set it over medium-high heat. Toss in some garlic paste, add the zucchini slices and sear on both sides. When done, transfer the zucchini slices on a baking sheet. Spoon an ample amount of marinara on top of each slice, add fresh basil on top, and then add mozzarella. Set the oven at 375 F and bake for 6 minutes. Perfect for dieters.

6. Late Night Protein Crepe

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 scoop Labrada ISO Lean Pro
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 packet zero-calorie sweetener like Truvia

Mix 3 egg whites, cinnamon and zero-calorie sweetener and a single scoop of Labrada ISO Lean Pro in a bowl. Pour in about ¾ of the mixture into a pre-heated coconut oil sprayed skillet. Spread the mixture out like when you’re making pancakes. Cook for a couple of minutes. Make yourself a high protein crepe with some berries and cottage cheese. A perfect low-calorie snack that you can enjoy.
