Vinegar is a must-have product for every kitchen. It is commonly used as a cooking condiment or preservative. But, aside from enhancing and releasing the flavors in different kinds of recipes, vinegar is also known to effectively work in a number of household hacks.

10 Household Hacks Using Vinegar
1. Unclogged drain
Pour half a cup of baking soda into the drain and next pour a cup of vinegar. Once the foaming stops, wash it off with hot water.
2. Remove sticky residue from tape
Spray the area with pure vinegar and let it sit for few seconds. Then scrub the area with a clean rag or paper towel.
3. Prevent stinky odor of used trash bins.
Soak a loaf of bread with vinegar. Place it into the bottom of the trash bin and let it sit overnight to let it absorb the smell.
4. Make a cheap and safe all-purpose cleaner.
Fill 1/3 of the spray bottle container with vinegar and dilute it with water. Add a few drops of dish washing soap and spray on areas that need cleaning.
5. Remove fruit flies at home.
Pour apple cider vinegar in a small bowl or cup. Cover with a plastic wrap and poke holes on top.
6. Flatten out wrinkles on clothes.
Dilute 1 part of vinegar to 3 parts of water into a spray bottle. Spray the clothing and let it hang to dry for a few minutes.
7. Prevent cats from scratching your sofa.
Spray pure vinegar on your sofa or any furniture.
8. Extend the life of cut flowers
In a vase, pour a little amount of apple cider vinegar and mix it with water.
9. Clean your eye/sunglasses
Spritz a little amount of white vinegar and wipe it clean with a soft cloth.
10. Get rid of hard to clean stains on pots and pans.
Place the pan or pot on a stove top. Pour 1 to 2 cups of vinegar and an equal amount of water. Allow it to boil for 5 minutes and the stain will completely wash off.
